Description

Recovering your MyAccount

To retrieve your MyAccount password, please follow the steps below:

  1. Go to our home page www.melbourneit.com.au
  2. At the top of the screen, you will see a button labeled "Login". Click on this.
  3. Select "Have you forgotten your password?"
  4. Enter your username

When you follow these steps, a randomly generated new password will be automatically emailed to the contact address on file for your account. When you receive this, you should log in and update the password to something easy for you to remember, while also making it difficult for hackers to guess. You can also set a password hint and a security challenge question.

If the email address is out of date, you can contact us via telephone and we will use the challenge question to validate your identity.

Recovering your MyAccount with only your domain name.

If you don't know your MyAccount username you can enter one of your domain names and you will be emailed information pertaining to you your domain name.

You will be then sent an email containing your registry key & MyAccount Username. It will be displayed as such "Your Domain Name is linked to MyAccount username : "INSERTMYACCOUNTHERE"

With this email you will then be able to repeat the steps instead this time entering your MyAccount username.

If you have tried the above steps and are not receiving any emails regarding login information

If it's been awhile since you have logged into your Melbourne IT MyAccount it's quite possible that your email address associated with your account is out of date. To update this you will need to contact us via telephone and we will have to verify your identity. Just give us a call at 1300 654 677 to speak to one of our friendly support staff.
